John & Nick's Steak & Prime Rib Inc

We had our company Christmas dinner here with 12 of us. Our waitress was outstanding! Most of us had some kind of steak and I heard no complaints. I got the tomahawk ribeye which is ridiculously huge but delicious. Prices are up there but no higher than other places. A side is included plus the whole salad bar and they bring you some bread. Pretty good value for great food! I also like that it is carpeted so not too noisy. I plan to return.

My wife told me how good this place was. Her steak had more fat on it which I'll put in the pictures and show you. And it was supposed to be blackened and it was nasty very little taste. I ordered prime rib same thing tons of fat and no taste at all. I had to order fries because I'm allergic to butter. So Mike our waiter said that there was butter in the bread. And he brought butter so I can't eat that because I end up throwing up all over everybody. Mike asked what else if there's anything else we needed my wife said the check. We waited we waited we waited. So we got up and ready to walk out to the front where everybody seated. Nobody not the manager the hostess just looked at us like we had leprosy. Here Comes Mike with her check. And he said it was sitting right there standing up. There's one thing in life I can't stand as a liar. My wife says no we ask for the check and you never brought it back. You feel like you're going to starting in there. Tables are so close guy stood there for at least 5 minutes why though guy was standing there taking an order and he couldn't even sit down to sell it when everybody else was sitting down. They're salad bar he had to wait 20 plus people in line to get salad. I will never go back there I would never recommend anybody to go there. And the pictures will show you why. My potatoes look like they are cooked in a week old grease. They were nasty hard, and if you look at where my prime rib was and all the fat is what I cut off of it I probably had 2 oz of meat and I couldn't eat it cuz it was so nasty. So like they say when everybody tells you it's really good and you're really disappointed cuz my wife was very sad. She wanted to be a special night and it was for this POS Steakhouse.

Went here on a whim and we're very surprised. The restaurant was full for dinner service on a Thursday but never felt overcrowded. The service was great and the salad bar is a great addition, super yummy and convenient. Our main entrées were well grilled and delicious. Kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatball dishes. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

$42 for scallops with almost no flavor but the cheap bacon wrapped around them? You have been warned! Prime rib was really good, service was very nice, salad bar was hard to get to and leave and was ok. Typical salad bar, not sure why people say how good it is. Salad, some toppings, cottage cheese, a pasta salad, pickled herring, and some chocolate "fluff" at the end. Pretty average. $90 for 2 people (not counting $25 tip), without drinks, for 8 (less than mediocre flavored) scallops and a 16 ounce prime rib, Could have got the tomahawk on sale ($2 off) but was still going to cost us $64 just for that! Over priced, under delivered. Thank the waitress for being very nice.

Everything was wonderful. I will try to get a different table next time as ours was right by the salad bar, which led to a couple traffic jams and small anxiety of being crowded. But we will be back. I finally found a steakhouse my husband really enjoyed and is excited to go back to. And that's a lot as he isn't a fan of steak. But his strip was perfectly seared, seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The same for my prime rib, which was a huge serving. I'm picky and don't normally go for the nightly special, but apparently saturdays is the night for steak and seafood combo specials. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.
